Locational success
In the midst of successful people, you become successful . . . that means when you are in the midst of failures you become more prone to failure. Your chances of failure is more when you locate in a failing place and your chance of success is more when you locate in a successful place with people with successful or positive mental attitude.
There is a saying that you cannot change who you are born to and even where you are born, but you can change what you become. You need to make sure you identify a location where you can succeed (or flourish)and make sure you work hard to achieve such success.
Identify with the right people and right mentality so that you can change your mentality as well . . . It is always a hard thing to do, to change from your usual mentality or pattern or way of doing things but with hard work you can change and it will definitely bring you positive results and success.

Loyalty Vs Commitment
What do you think about loyalty to your clients or customers and organisational directive from management that are at odds. There are clients that may have transferred their business and custom to you instead of your competitor. They have helped your business to grow from when it was a small and unknown business to its new found growth. Such customers have been loyal to the organisation in all situations, thick and thin.
What will you do as an assistant; in a situation where management begins to treat such customers shabbily and deny them of the basic services that they may require?
Will you continue to go beyond the call of duty to provide the customers with the services that you are capable of, even though management have decided to use your expertise completely for other customers at the expense of all your loyal customers who through them the organisation have achieved such growth?
Loyalty and commitment is such a difficult and conflicting thing when you have differences between what management expects and what you know is the least that should be done for your clients.
